DDW x Music Innovation: Immersieve experience CHARLOT en WITT

Binnen het project HYMNE hebben 4DR Studios en Effenaar Lab samen met kunstenaars Anneke van Giersbergen, WITT, CHARLOT en Dylan van Dael vier immersieve virtuele miniconcerten ontwikkeld. Elke experience draait om één song, waarin audio, beeld en technologie samenkomen in een AR-, VR- of MR-experience. Duik in hun projecten en laat je op nieuwe manieren verrassen door muziek en digitale elementen. Tijdens deze middag kan je de immersieve experiences van WITT en CHARLOT ervaren.

WITT is een elektronisch muziekproject onder leiding van de Belgische zangeres Tine Théré, en staat bekend om zijn polyfone zang en futuristische liveshows. Rond het nummer Insomnia heeft WITT een dromerige wereld ontwikkeld. Ga in een hangmat liggen en dompel je onder in hun scènes waar virtuele schaduwen, muziek en invloeden van online bezoekers samenkomen, terwijl het collectief je live toezingt.

CHARLOT is een band rond singer-songwriter Lotte Mulder. Met haar VR-ervaring brengt CHARLOT geluid visueel tot leven en nodigen ze je uit in hun surrealistische Wonderland. Dwaal door scènes die rechtstreeks zijn geïnspireerd op de tekst van hun nummer 'Lost Like Alice' van het debuutalbum. Dompel jezelf onder in hun verhaal en vind de juiste objecten om naar de volgende scènes te gaan. Vergeet logica en regels en verlies jezelf in het mysterie van deze droomwereld.

Within the project HYMNE, 4DR Studios and Effenaar Lab have developed four immersive virtual mini concerts together with artists Anneke van Giersbergen, WITT, CHARLOT and Dylan van Dael. Each experience revolves around one song, in which audio, image and technology come together in an AR, VR or MR experience. Dive into their projects and let music and digital elements surprise you in new ways. This afternoon you can dive into the immersive experiences of WITT and CHARLOT.

WITT is an electronic music project led by Belgium singer Tine Théré, and known for its polyphonic vocals and futuristic live shows. Around the song Insomnia, WITT has now developed a dreamy world. Lay down in a hammock and immerse yourself in their scenes where virtual shadows, music and influences from online visitors come together. 

CHARLOT is a band around singer-songwriter Lotte Mulder. With their VR experience, they bring their sound to life visually and invite you into their surreal Wonderland. Roam around scenes directly inspired by the lyrics of their song 'Lost Like Alice' from CHARLOT's debut album. Immerse yourself in their story and find the right objects to move onto the next scenes. Forget logic and rules and lose yourself in the mystery of this dream world.
